We've almost reached the end of this year, and without delay Sony has just unveiled what's coming for PlayStation Plus subscribers from January 1, 2019 to February 5, 2019.

Headlining the PS Plus video game lineup next month are the massive open world sports game Steep and the action-RPG Portal Knights, with the rest of the upcoming titles outlined below courtesy of James Hallahan at PlayStation Plus to quote:

Alongside their PlayStation Store Holiday Sale today Sony announced the latest PSN Flash Sale offering even more holiday deals at PS Store with savings of up to 30% on the Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 + Destiny 2: Forsaken + Overwatch Ultimate Action Pack, Red Dead Redemption 2: Special Edition and more!

PS4 Games

Developed by Eidos and Published by Square Enix, Shadow of the Tomb Raider on PlayStation 4 has just received its second installment of PS4 DLC called The Pillar which is now available!

Prepare to discover the truth behind the legend of the Maya apocalypse in The Pillar and reclaim an ancient treasure, as Lara Croft defies the treacherous storms of an all-new challenge tomb all while fighting Trinity.

We are excited to announce “The Pillar,” the second of seven new DLC adventures for Shadow of the Tomb Raider, is available now.

While there have been work-arounds for creating and using alternate / different region PSN accounts on the PlayStation 4 for years, some European users including AlphaFoxWarfare report that options to change both the PlayStation Store Country / Region and Language settings have recently appeared in their PSN Menu... although they currently don't function to allow users to change the PlayStation Store region and language.

Mainstream media sites including GearNuke.com and PlayStationLifeStyle.net speculate that perhaps Sony hasn't rolled out this feature just yet, but they could be preparing to in coming months.

To quote: "In the absence of the an official announcement from Sony, users are experimenting with the option themselves. It seems that despite appearing in the store menu, it isn't functional yet. Either Sony slipped and the feature appeared prematurely, or the company's gearing up to set it live soon and this was just the first step."

Recently the PlayStation 4 turned five years old, and on behalf of Sony Interactive Entertainment in celebration of over 81.2 million units sold PlayStation Korea made available a PS4 five year anniversary trailer video full of fond PlayStation memories.
