I'm on Rebug 4.80 with latest Multiman. I can start my games without any problems, but after 5-30 minutes of playing, the PS3 freezes, and I have to switch it off.

Yesterday I tried with FIFA Street 3 and FIFA Street, I could play around 1 half of one match, then both froze. Copied it to internal, plugged external disk off, same result.

I tried Cars 2, I could play for 30 minutes, then same problem occurred.

I also tested 4 versions of Diablo III plus Reaper of Souls, with every version, I cannot get further than the character selection, as soon as I start the game, it freezes. So now I doubt if it's even the version of the game I have.

PSN games work perfectly, I have a huge collection, and ALL of them work, 100% success.

Before I had a phat model, and it was working absolutely fine, but after 8 years of service, it died. So I had to get a slim version (2nd model of PS3 I guess), and from the beginning on, I had more freezes than on the phat model. Now that I wanted to try out some games a bit again, I come to this conclusion.

Should I try another CFW, or does that have nothing to do with it?

I'm gonna try it out, nothing to lose :)

Just tested Fast & Furious Showdown, froze after 20 minutes, so I guess the problem is definitely not the games.

Thanks.

would try to check the head aswell install webman press start + select and install the newest rebug cfw + multiman most freezes coming from overheading or you're "copies" aren't good

No luck, problem still exists. Tried different managers, logins, settings and stuff.

@King2Phoenix, don't really get what you're trying to say? Try using . . . :)

I have now newest Rebug, 4.81.2, and latest MultiMan installed. The copies were working perfectly on my phat PS3, nothing changed from that part.

haha sorry, was at work and wrote from my phone. What i am trying to say is check your ps3's cpu and gpu head.

when you got a freeze and forced to restart, check in Multiman (mmCM) right corner what the cpu and gpu head shows.

Ok, so it shows 69 for the CPU and 66 for the GPU, slightly higher than you suggested, but I still doubt that it's an issue.

@Sir Are you suggesting to take the internal HDD out and test it with HD Sentinel?

Hm, I still have a 2TB 2.5" lying around here, perhaps I should put that in, if I wasn't so lazy, then I also could put most of my games just to internal and wouldn't need the external anymore.
