Jailbreak PS3 4.76 CFW for 4.76 OFW without downgrading?

I have been informed that the update file I have attached will allow you to jailbreak OFW 4.76 without the need to downgrade. Is anyone able to confirm this? Link shared to me from a member from Youtube and video seemed legit that it was an official way to do so without requiring a downgrade, simple. I do not have my PS3 yet as I am away but would be overjoyed if it were true.

Please comment with results.

then you should know know that it's probably a brick.there are HUNDRED'S OF VIDEOS LIKE THAT ONE, THAT YOU SAW TODAY!! they are all fake.. only unless they relate to one specific firmware for the time being. being and probably for forever. you need to and MUST use an E3 flasher to solder the metal and actual copper of your PS3 into a position onto a tool that can be used to downgrade it from the main board of your PS3 (the E3 Flasher..) forgive me if my wording is sloppy.... it probably is. I am typing to 2 people at once ATM. you only need todowngrade it with this tool.. but it takes hardware access.. and a bit of patience. you need to open up your ps3 a well. If it's on a higher firmware than 3.55 3.55 IS THE ONLY HACKABLE FW AT THIS TIME. And probably will always be. I apologize for my earlier.. um capitol lettering. lol just next time know.. that their a lot... a lot of those fake videos. on YouTube especially for ps3.

also.. don't just install just anything. it can BRICK (that means to make unusable) your PS3 people are able to manipulate the files of the SYSTEM OS of the PS3 and the .PUP file it installs with. and make such bricks. be careful, @worrow

Will do, so that file is officially conidered brick?
 
no. you will mostly likely get a data corruption error its usually just official firmware with a stupid license agreement that states otherwise. if you need links pm on how to get started pm me.
