Sony already confirmed the PlayStation 5 next-generation video gaming console is in development, and following yesterday's tipoff of PlayStation 4 Firmware 5.0 coming late this summer industry insider Tidux revealed a potential PS5 estimated time of arrival (ETA) alongside some predictions from Wedbush Securities analyst Michael Pachter below! :sneaky:

Before we jump in, if you haven't seen it yet there's a new Sony MEME in the Shoutbox message of the day (MOTD) and Nintendo Switch owners will be pleased to know BigBlueBox has officially kicked off the scene with some game cartridge dumps.

According to Michael Pachter Sony is expected to cut the PS4 price to $249 and the PS4 Pro price to $349 this holiday season, with GamingBolt.com reporting he also states the PS5 will likely be backwards compatible with the PS4 Pro and may launch in 2019.

Tidux also shared some juicy rumors of his own over the last 24 hours, hinting that the PS5 may be announced at E3 2018 and released in late 2019... which corroborates the Wedbush Securities analyst's PlayStation 5 ETA as well.

So got 3 rumors for you, I don't now anything about it, how true or not it is but I will share with you and let time will tell
1. PlayStation and Level 5 is making a #Robotech game.
2. PS Now will be released worldwide and be a part of a new PS Plus plan.
3. PS5 announced at E3 2018 released late 2019
To be super clear, I have no idea if there is any substance to these rumors.

Feel free to share your thoughts on these PlayStation 5 rumors in the comments below, and thanks to @ArthurBishop for passing along the news tip in the PSXHAX Shoutbox!

Oh!!!! Again PC win. Thanks to codex, CPY, Skidrow and Steampunks. Always & Forever PC.

I'll make a note of it, perhaps something we'll add down the road indeed! (y)
Sony is at least more Steam friendly than Microsoft. Or I guess more-so that the 360 couldn't handle the Steam Overlay.... anywho, they should do more promotions like they did with Portal 2: purchase on the console and link to a Steam account, get it for free on PC on that Steam account. Best promo to date.

no trainers (learn how to play a game, don't have a computer do it for you. ruins the experience for everyone else)
When you pay 70€ a game, I understand why you dont want to complete the game in a few hours.

no mods (again, everyone sees the same thing with the same graphics and same computational lag. only network lag is a factor between players
Mods OFFLINE of course

Denuvo protected games are rarely cracked, if ever, and never on day one. Titanfall 2 was just cracked the other day, after being out for how long now?
DENUVO is a DRM from the past, all games today are cracked day one:

Spoiler

(That's a nice way to test a game. If you like, you purchase it. That's what I did for Tekken 7.)

If you want to play in 1080p, don't get a Pro or a Pro-optimized game. Sony messed up not allowing Pro consoles to play in 1080p for Pro-optimized games. Their fault, not consoles fault.
How many games are "Pro-optimized" ? 2 or 3 ?
Anyway those few games look better on PC with an higher framerate.

This has nothing to do with wanting to complete the game soon. And I'm in America so I pay way less than that per game. The point is, if you want to have the satisfaction of completing a game, you do it yourself. If you want help, use a guide. But using a trainer to simply beat the game just so you can say you beat it? GTFO. That's not what gaming is.

Mods OFFLINE of course
Mods online are available on PC in the form of bots (trainers, aimers, etc). They ruin the game for everyone playing and are a nuisance. One of the reasons I refuse to play an FPS such as Call of Duty on PC anymore. When the opponent is falling off a building, and his computer sees 1 pixel of my body, and shoots it perfectly every time, before I even see the guy, where is the fun in that for the masses?

Denuvo is DRM of the past? Are you on crack? Now you're just talking out of your butt for no reason, or you don't really know about what security which game uses. Here's a list of all Denuvo games: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Denuvo.

Denuvo is probably the most expensive DRM, and as a whole has not been cracked. Denuvo protected games are cracked individually, taking months to years to happen (Titanfall 2, released last October, received its first PC crack less than 2 weeks ago.)

Still don't believe me? https://crackwatch.com/ go there and look at the majority of Denuvo only games. Sure some are cracked on day 0, but the majority needed more than 200+ days to be cracked.

I'm not talking about old games, I'm talking about games released in the past 365 days. So no, Denuvo is not a DRM from the past and not all games today are cracked day one. That is in no way, shape, or form remotely true.

If you still are set in your ways, how about you download and play Ghost Recon Wildlands? Oh wait...exactly my point. AAA title, Denuvo DRM, still not cracked. Denuvo variant is known for GRW yet no progress on cracking it. Man, I hate old technologies.

Really? Gran Turismo PS4 looks better on PC? Oh wait, Sony exclusives don't get PC releases, as I already mentioned. My point about the pro-optimized games is that if you are playing them on a PS4Pro, you /have/ to play them in 4K. You don't get the option of playing them in 1080p with Pro benefits. That was all.

I appreciate you taking the time to respond. It's a shame your information is so wildly inaccurate. :(

I agree but up to people, their choice to use trainers or not. On last consoles they dont have that choice.

One more thing from the past !
On Steam you can give an alert when you think one player is using a bot. Then Steam will ban that account WITH all the linked purchased games.

If you dont believe me, go and read this about COD cheaters: "In my 80ish hours I have never found cheaters or "hackers" but I always see people crying over cheaters and hackers all the time what am I missing out on?"

The v3 & v4 DENUVO cracks are relatively new (less than 2 months). Yes games have to be cracked one by one, 4 teams are progressively cracking all those old games. But all new DENUVO games are cracked day 1, it takes them (Baldman for instance) less than 1 hour to 2 to crack those games.

project cars 2 > forza 7 > gt sport.
PC2 & F7 best version on PC, real 4k + always > 60 fps and ... free :)

Heh. Nice reply. I'll leave you with this: according to the reddit that you linked me to, not a single Denuvo game has been cracked day 0. At best, day 3-5. I understand that 4 teams are working on cracks for them and they have gotten pretty darn good at it. Perhaps a new variant awaits that will slow them down again. Either way, Denuvo games are still not cracked day 1.

Not a single one on your list shows it was cracked day 1. And with 5 games that have never been cracked or circumvented. So you are clearly exaggerating to make your point. I understand that, I do. But when I debate something with somebody, I go by the straight, cold, hard facts. And according to your sources, it still takes a few days, at very best, to crack Denuvo games. It also is so rare that Denuvo games are cracked even that fast, they the chart on the sub-Reddit even points out when cracks are released within the first 2 weeks of a game retailing. To which there are only 3 instances.

Let's see how long it takes for them to crack the upcoming games: Agents of Mayhem and Dishonored: Death of the Outsider. That should give us an honest and clear idea as to the group's ability to crack Denuvo.

I also have to think that cracking Denuvo games means running through millions of possibilities before it gets cracked. If that's the case, then some games are cracked quickly due to chance rather than effort. Maybe you can shed some light on to Denuvo cracking? If not, no worries. I am just being curious as to why some games are cracked quickly and others never. I also understand the popularity factor is in play.

I agree that I exaggerate when I told you that all new AAA games are cracked day 1. New games are available in 48h or 72h. Dont forget that we are not in the 90's, the games today are 20-40Go that means:

1 - 4-5 hours to DL the game
2 - 2 hours to crack the game
3 - 2 hours to test the game
eat, sleep ...
4 - zip the game = 2 hours
5 - upload the game on uptobox etc... = 4-6 hours
6 - publish it = 1 hour
7 - repack fitgirl = 48 hours

Anyway you are waiting for a ps4 JB for how many hours ? :)

You're still exaggerating. Again, the quickest in that thread was 4 days. The second quickest was what, 6 days? The average is what, 30 days? So please stop exaggerating. Period.

I haven't been awaiting a PS4 JB for any hours. I just pay for what I play or get them for free from Sony.
