I think some games like Marvel's Spiderman (cusa09893) has save game problems. they will release update fix for that issue.

How do you recommend installing @RetroGamer74?

Option A:
1. Install base game.
2. Install backported update.

Option B:
1. Install base game.
2. Install backport patch for base game.
3. Install backported update.

Option C:
1. Install base game.
2. Install backport patch for base game.
3. Install update.
4. Install backported update.

Option D:
1. Install base game.
2. Install update.
3. Install backported update.

I seem to get better results from option B... But would appreciate what you seem to think is the best way.

@ody1977

Option A: should be the best if you own an update and the backported result works, because you save time.

Option B: has something good. Usually creates the fix for the base game is faster, so you will know really quick if the game runs. Some games runs with the fix in 1.00 but not when applying updates.

Option C: NOT now by the way. I mean, the tool is not creating a fix from the update as it does from the base game. We're working on this. I means get a smallest fix for a big update. I.E. Days Gone 1.51 is around 23 gigabytes. We could create a 150 megas fix. So in this case this scenario will be the fast, but it's not implemented yet. So in the current release 0.7, if you do that you install the update two times. It's better to install only the backported update which in fact contains the full update with the modified files needed.

Option D: Never install the update and then the backported update. As I said before when AutoBackPort will be able to build a small fix from the update, then this option will be the best.
