Following his DarkNet 4.81 CEX V1.00 CFW, today PlayStation 3 developer @darkjiros updated the CFW to DarkNet 4.81 CEX v1.00 COBRA 7.3 PS3 Custom Firmware complete with source code and the changes detailed below.

I wouldn't recommend doing the hardware flasher yourself unless you are real techy, can tear apart your console, solder tiny pads and wires, etc... our Moderator @racer0018 does them though

Thank you, I contacted him; and the tutorials for the jailbreak on the latest versions of each console the ps3 and ps4? Are there videos to go with them?

For PS3 if you're looking for tutorials and videos I would recommend searching Google or YouTube we don't have many archived here yet except for those recent methods.

Basically, once you downgrade the PS3 with a hardware flasher then yes you will be able to install this (or any) CFW.

Maybe you will be able to hack your console, although I have a feeling it might not quite be an old enough model. Download this, MinVerChk.rar

Extract the pup file and run it on your PS3 like a normal firmware update. It will fail and then tell you what the lowest firmware that can be installed on your model is. If it says 3.56 or lower then you will be able to install CFW. And yes it will require using an e3 flasher or teensy++ to install CFW.
