DiscDump 50X Payload: Dump from PS4 Optical Drive to USB by Stooged

Since his History Blocker Payload and following the Guide to Dump PS4 Disc Games and PS4 Game Backup / Decryption Tutorial, PlayStation 4 developer @stooged made available a DiscDump 50X payload to copy / dump content and files from a PS4 optical drive to a USB HDD on jailbroken 5.05 Firmware.

To quote from stooged on the release in the forums: "its not super fast but it will dump the files to a folder named Disc_Dump on a usb drive.

just insert the disc into the drive and then run the payload.

if you use a new game disc if it asks you about updating just select cancel and then run the payload."

This is not a game dumper like the xvortex dumper it just dumps the contents of a disc you put into the ps4 optical drive.

That could be any disc and it was only posted because another member was asking about reading the contents of a disc in the ps4 optical drive.

You can also browse and download the files from the optical drive via ftp.

Also me, i try the same to dump rdr2 disk and obtain "insufficient memory". I think this dumper work on games that are possible to read for the FW 5.0.5

This is the same as putting the disc in your PC bluray drive, and copying the contents. It will not let you dump new games.
