How to use a microphone in Linux PS4?

Hello everybody. Need help, maybe someone knows how to use a microphone in Linux PS4. I have installed fedora 32 on my ps4 / fw 6.72.

I want to use a microphone in messenger or discord, but the input function is disabled in bzimage.

have you tried using usb audio adapter or perhaps usb microphone devices

gatepad ps4 can be counted with a device, you can connect headphones with a microphone to the gamepad, but linux at the kernel level does not work

so i made a test using a wireless headphone on my ps4 , and i'm using fedora 32 too it works fine unfortunately when i connected wired headphones on my ds4 controller it does not work just as you said

or perhaps the linux dev on ps4 did not fully implemented gatepad to be use to microphone

solution just find a wireless headphone or usb audio adapter to make use for your wired microphone on ps4

Thanks for the interesting thought. What sound adapter and wireless headphones do you think the microphone will work with?
