Installing any PS3 CFW via CD/DVD?

guys plz help, my playstation has only one usb slot working and the other one is damaged and I'm trying to upgrade

I replaced the 80 GB HD with 500 GB HD and I cannot do install the firmware via flash drive so I tried many methods to do install firmware via cd/dvd room but I failed

plz, someone help me to do that correct way

Use a Ferrox firmware and the corect folder structure PS3 / UPDATE / PS3UPDAT.PUP burned to disc

You should at least told us what kind of error you have. I assumed you was on rebug and can not install rebug fw from safe mode over it.

The Ferrox is good choice if it didnt work you must using downgrader fw.
