Since his recent PS4 Homebrew Demo, PlayStation 4 developer BigBoss made available LibOrbis which is a set of libraries and samples for PS4 homebrew development that coders can make use of in lieu of the Sony leaks. :geek:

Download: liborbis-master.zip / Github (Depreciated) / New Github

In some of the Tweets below he clarifies his anti-p!racy stance among other developers reminding people to buy original games, while PS4 sceners including @zecoxao (Twitter) and @ZeraTron (Twitter) sorted out a fix to the trial / full game issue when using Playroom (Files Dumped & Decrypted) which is actually a trial instead of using a disc-based title as the donor game when loading PS4 backups.

Check out the Tweets below, where in summary it appears a new / updated tutorial is in the works which may include details on editing the PS4 Minimal Firmware Version to run PlayStation 4 games.

Finally, here's a quick Silent Hill P.T. "It's Alive!!!" demo from @GrimDoe for those interested! (y)
Cheers to @SSShowmik and @XfactorX for the news in the PSXHAX Shoutbox earlier on! :lovewins:

This full game trick is like the ODE, except you need money for original game. ODE uses a disc inside to trick the PS3 into thinking your running that game when instead your running several others.

The concept is the same here as well. If the playroom was a full version game, no other requirements would have been necessary.

Gotcha, reminds me of the early PS2 disc swap days when you needed a larger original game disc so the PlayStation 2 could read the TOC (Table of Contents) in order to trick the console into loading the backup disc.

One of the 'desirable' discs at the time was the Devil May Cry 2 demo disc as it maxed out the disc size and most backup games were smaller than the DMC2 demo so they would load. :D
