Hello,
I read the following thread: Do PS4 disc-based games on PS5 require a Firmware update?
However, my question is a bit different.
I have a PS5 on FW 4.03 and want to stay there. I also have Red Dead Redemption II on a PS4 disc. I can install and play the game. However, if I enable network without automatic update, I can manually look for a game update and get 1.31 downloaded. However, it wants me to update my firmware (but does not say what the minimum version is).
Is there any way with ftp / hex-editor to modify the update to get it installed? I haven't heard of any spoof payload... It it is possible, a tutorial would be great!
Regards,
Mario
