New RetroArch Cores, More Emulator Features for PS4 & PS5 Scene

Proceeding his previous RetroArch PS2 Emulators Pack for use with the Mast1c0re PS2 Exploit comes some additional RetroArch Emulator cores compiled via @Markus95 (aka @Kus00095) on Twitter bringing more features to retrogaming enthusiasts in both the PS4Scene and PS5Scene.

Here is a new pack of Retroarch PS2 emulators compatible with the PS4 and PS5 Mast1c0re hack.

This pack contains 10 CORES including 4 new ones, all in version 1.14 bringing a lot of new features compared to the previous pack, such as the launch of your roms in .ZIP format, but that's not all...

Indeed, you can now access the Pause menu (Quick menu) by pressing and holding the touchpad on the start side for 2 seconds. This will allow you to change the settings of the cores live, the resolution, the framerate, etc... but above all to change roms at any time without having to quit and therefore restart the whole hack procedure.

This new pack includes several CORES of Retroarch, which we no longer present, which are:

• Picodrive (Megadrive)
• SMSPlus (Master System and Game Gear)
• SNES9x2002 (Super Nintendo)
• QuickNES (Nintendo Nes)
• Gambatte (Game Boy and Game Boy Color)
• Race (Neo Geo Pocket and Neo Geo Pocket Color)
• Handy (Atari Lynx)
• Atari800 (Atari)
• Mednafen_Wswam (Wonderswan)
• Prboom (Doom + mods)

You can therefore launch your ROMs on your console, as usual the emus are "delivered" without ROMs, you will have to add them yourself in the roms folder present in the .iso.

To do this you must extract all the files and folders from the .iso in CDgen V3, then add your roms in the ROMS folder and to finish always with CDgen create an .iso, video tutorial just below.

Good news. Still waiting for an official Retroarch release, but this is huge.

I cant wait to be able to set up emulation on the PS4. It is just nice to have all of my games in one place rather than having different systems and some emulation on PC. I think it would be awesome if they somehow manage to use the controller gyro to emulate wii controllers. It would be much better than changing the controls often because of running out of buttons. Not that they need another thing to work on, they are probably doing something more important.
