PS2 .CONFIG file for Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 4 SLUS-20504

has anyone had luck coming up with a config that makes thps4 SLUS-20504 playable via software emulation (ps2netemu) on ps3

it suffers from "Graphic issues with Spiky Polygons" (sps) and randomly hangs so bad you need to reset the game (both via ps2classics and launching .iso with cobra)

noticed https://github.com/Zarh/ManaGunZ/tree/master/pkgfiles/USRDIR/sys/CONFIG/OFFICIAL having some official configs and him adding the ability to create custom configs via his manager but i just cant come up with a working combination... has anyone had more luck?

http://www.psdevwiki.com/ps3/PS2_Emulation_enviroments_in_PS3_firmware states that "SCES-53851 Forbidden Siren 2" suffers from the same issue but taking that config file and just changing game id with hxd did absolutely nothing

also played around with all possible combinations in the hidden "press l1 r1 square d-left for 10sec then press start" menu but that just made things worse

its a long shot but maybe i get lucky!

I haven't seen anything on this issue myself, but will keep an eye out when posting Zar's updates from Github.

Maybe someone else here knows and can lend us a hand?

after not checking for a few months i noticed there is a config up at

that does the trick! (at least graphical issues fixed, too little gameplay to talk about stability too)

wondering how to "force widescreen" and "skip intro" for that now hmmm

appendix:

so i managed to answer my questions myself through trial&error and some reading in forums:

"force widescreen" aka "ps2 upscaling: fullscreen" is a native ps3 setting: http://manuals.playstation.net/document/en/ps3/current/settings/gamesettings.html

and that "skip intro" thing works by patching the .elf inside .iso which can be done with managunz manager (modifies the iso so it works when loading via webman too)

edit: appearantly "skip movies" doenst edit the .elf but just renames all files with movie files extensions (.pss?) so they get skipped since they are "not there" - good for intro movies sucks if there are some movies inbetween gameplay aswell, gues one would need to manually edit only intro movie filenames
