first go here check the serial number on the back of your PS3 match it with the thread below to see if it is a NOR or NAND PS3: https://www.psxhax.com/threads/downgradable-ps3-models-base-firmware-with-minverchk.388/
make 2 folders one for dumper one for flasher, call one dump and other flash, extract dump rar to dump and flash rar to flash, open the flash folder and the hex 482 folder and copy the flsh.hex file to the root of a fat32 formatted USB stick
put the USB stick in the USB slot closest to blueray drive
go to your c: drive open xampp folder then open htdocs folder
put both your folders in here (dump) (flash)
now go to windows button find xampp and open the xampp control panel
click start on the apache module
now open cmd prompt type ipconfig find your ipv4 address write it down
now switch on your PS3 go to internet browser n type in the ipv4 address ipconfig gave you
it will be something like 192.168.1.21/dump
now go to index and click the dump full 16mb NOR/NAND button
let it do its thing it will shut down after
now take the file dump.hex and rename it to dump.bin open it in the PS3DumpChecker and patch it ...it should all go green if ok ...if ok rename it back to dump.hex put it back onto your USB stick plug it back into the same USB slot on PS3
now go back to your PS3 browser go to your ipv4 address again example 192.168.1.21/flash choose whether its NOR or NAND console and ...click flash
then once done it will shut down
then update via USB to Ferrox or Rebug
make a folder on a fat32 stick called PS3 inside it make another folder called UPDATE inside update you put your FW... PS3UPDAT.PUP update via XMB
