PS4 EBOOT.BIN ELF Patcher for Skyrim Special Edition & Fallout 4

Proceeding the PS4 EBOOT / ELF FW Patcher method and previous updates, this weekend developer @Backporter (aka Kernel Panic on Twitter) made available a PS4 EBOOT.BIN ELF Patcher for Skyrim Special Edition and Fallout 4 game modders.

To quote from the README.md: EBOOT.BIN-ELF-Patcher

This only works with SSE version 1.09 and 1.22 for Fallout 4.

This is for the PS4, This allows you to patch Skyrim Special Edition and Fallout 4 to look for "mods.txt", it could also be used to add your own custom patches as long as you have offsets and are willing to do so.

Side notes, ESM must be first ESP 2nd and ESL 3rd. For a example i'll show you what it should look like this:

been reverse engineering the PS4 version of skyrim, found a serious issue lol, their own implementation of one of the papyrus functions is completely broken, calling it fetlocks the game and causes a ASYNC failure, take a guess at what the function is...
PlayBink, yes, the video player does not work when called via papyrus, I've "fixed" it but even than the implementation of that fix causes a framebuffer conflict thus the game swaps between the video being played and the game itself every three fames.
Skyrim's Paraglider: Paragliding on Skyrim ORBIS

A while ago I had the idea of porting over Skyrim's Paraglider to the PS4, at that time I had no way of properly loading it and now that I have developed my own library, stuff like this can be done.

I got permission from Loki to do the port, all the hard work was done by them so do go check out the original mod. overall, 10/10, amazing mod.

@Backporter One question, everyting is working with porting mods that im sure, but how to get working "Mods" option within Skyrim to manage a configurations of Mods and save it?

I check and PS4 Offline Account Activator GUI by Charlyzard (Barthen) its not working, I'm sure that i do it correctly, because I can for example copy savedata in PS4 system to usb, but can't pass through singing to PSN within Skyrim in "mods" options in game. Maybe you figure it out how to go through that?

There are some mods that have some option within to change like for example High Heels, so you can set up the height of heels.

But of course you need to get through PSN. In PC version its just choose Mods option and you have some mods that are configurable.

And I confirm that adding mods works with update 1.16

Edit: Or maybe there are some methods of specifying a configuration of mods, like editing some files to make height of heels as static value. Its just a guess

The 'mods' part of the game is unusable, sony + bugcity linked it to needing to be online and connected to PSN to function (while i might be able to possibly overcome this ill need too look more into when i get a good bit of free time), as of now you can't use it, and imo its best to ignore it for now.

Mods that use a MCM to customize features are not customizable as the MCM requires SKSE, for skyrim there is no real way of customizing the settings unless the mod has the non-SKSE version of a MCM, there is alot we can't do because of lack of SKSE.
