Following the open source homebrew PS4 PKG Store from @Joaquin Salih (aka toxxic407) and his previous release, today PlayStation 4 developer @LightningMods announced on Twitter news of another PS4 homebrew store package he made with LibOrbis from PSXDev (now depreciated, scene devs should refer to OrbisDev instead) for those interested that own a jailbroken PS4 console. :geek:

How to Install & Setup Useful PS4 Homebrew Apps (6.72 or Lower!)

 Update: Sleirsgoevy (Twitter) has now shared a HBStore CDN for those interested in hosting a custom PKG repository with PS4 Homebrew Store.

Download: / HBStore CDN GIT

Here's more from the, to quote: hbstore-cdn

This program allows you to host custom package repository for PS4 Homebrew Store.

Before using this program you must run (download.bat on Windows) to download the required files from the official CDN.

From the directory containing file, run:
python3 /path/to/pkgs/
where /path/to/pkgs is the directory containing your package files.

On Windows, the command will look like this:
python c:\path\to\pkgs\
Note: superuser privileges are required to bind to port 80

To redirect the app to your server, create a settings.ini file with the following contents:
Then insert a USB drive with this file into the left USB port of the PS4 and start the application.

Note: you only need to do this once. If you want to use the original CDN, upload another settings.ini with:

I have managed to run HBStore CDN successfully, done some tests and logged few issues so it's worth reading all of them before complaining it doesn't work.

Slow as hell for now but I hope it will improve over time.

My ultimate goal would be mounting gDrive based CDN via rclone and caddy on my NAS/SBPC and do not store PKGs locally :)

I have downloaded the homebrew store and used it on my 5.05 with no problems. And now that I have updated to 6.72 it doesn't work. I have tried uninstalling and re-installing and can't seem to get it to work. Is there a certain homebrew app download that I need? Big, big thanks!!!!

Hi everyone i have got a question i need to ask right i just watched a video on youtube by modded warfare here about the new Homebrew Store pkg file that comes out on the 6th november 2021:

in the video you are able to dump a ps4 disc game to external hard drive without going to the user guide to do the dumper payload and getting errors.

anyway the homebrew store pkg to dump a ps4 game through that you only have to click on the userguide click on the exploit/hen then use the homebrew store to dump the ps4 game to external hard drive which i would say this method would be better to do.

but anyway my question is you still have to turn your dump ps4 game folder into a pkg file and install that, is there any way that the homebrew store pkg file that you install on your ps4 console could just boot the ps4 games folder straight off the external hard drive?

cos modded warfare said in the video that it is like the multiman what was on ps3 it is like that but for ps4 but anyway multiman on the ps3 booted ps3 games and retro games straight off the external hard drive so i am hoping that will happen with the ps4.
