Today the PSXITA Team ported the PS4 Linux Loader for 9.00 Jailbroken PS4 consoles via Twitter to include eeply's patch to boost GPU performance in the updated payloads for those with a Base PS4 Model in the PlayStation 4 Scene. 🐧

To quote from the PSXITA.it Blog on these latest changes, roughly translated: PS4 Linux Loader for FW 9.00 Which Increases the Performance of the GPU

We realized that the payloads to run linux on PS4 on fw higher than 5.05 did not have the eeply patch to set the gpu frequency and the pstate.

Without this patch the performance of the gpu deteriorates a lot (for example using the benchmark unigine heaven the fps drop by 11-13).

For this reason we have brought the patch to fw 9.00.

Enjoy

Cheers to @cedsaill4 for the heads-up on this earlier via Twitter! 🍻

Don't wanna be the party pooper, but, please don't get your hopes up, as the patch seems to work selectively on a few models. And, in others it only provides if at all, a 1-2FPS improvement.

That being said, PSXITA has done a great job releasing these payloads. They are a reason why PS4 Linux scene is still alive.
