PS4 System Software / Firmware 11.52 OFW Live, Don't Update!

Proceeding the PS4 System Software / Firmware 11.50 OFW Update, today Sony pushed live PS4 System Software / Firmware 11.52 OFW with the PS4UPDATE.PUP updates and official changelog outlined below.

As always, DON'T UPDATE if you wish to use PS4 Fake PKG Games via PS4 Torrents and Homebrew Apps whenever a new PS4 Jailbreak Exploit arrives in the PlayStation 4 Scene.

My PRO is on 6.72. So happy to see backporting is still in the fire.

I did not use it for a year, but now there are new tennis games Top Spin 2K25 and Tiebreak and PS is back.

Edit: Today I got second dualshock. I am ready for tennis

Firmware 11 is out and here i am staying in 5.05. As long as the backport scene is alive, i have no intention to update. Although firmware 9 looks so appealing.

That's absolutely right, this update should be done cautiously. The last time I updated, it took 2 years before I could use fpkg again.

Thanks for the heads up! I'll wait a little longer to see if a more recent JB comes out. Was already preparing files for the 11.00 FW with luckfox pico for testing on my slim an pro. In that case I'll do the job just once in case it's launched soon

Can't wait, hopefully we can get a more clean jailbreak so we don't have to do the ppoe or the USB with 9.0 both are kinda annoying. i miss the old ps3 days bo2 host menus etc

Back after 2 years. I am on 7.02 and considering to update to 9.00. Hope it is as stable as current version i am using. This FW update affort from Sony is bothering me.

I was extremely lucky to find a low fw ps4 in the bin... it wasn't in great condition but swapping its internals to a new case and all was the best decision ever, and I'm so happy to see a continued effort to keep pushing to the new firmwares lol
