Following the PS4 HEN 2.1.3 updates, PlayStation 4 homebrew developer @TheDarkprograme shared a PS4HEN 2.1.4 Github fork (from SiSTR0's repository, also forked from xvortex) via Twitter that includes save data mount patches from ChendoChap who released both PS4 Cheater and PlayStation 4 Save Mounter previously with feedback from @Leeful in fixing reported issues for certain games. 🔥

To quote from Leeful on this latest PS4 HEN 2.1.4 revision:

"All I know is that the save mount patch that has been added to Hen 2.1.4 can be used with some homebrew that is being developed.

Apart from this patch there is no difference between this and the previous version on Hen."

Comments

@lotus78 There are no new features in Hen 2.1.4.
The patch is only there so that it can be used with future homebrew that is still being developed.

At the moment there is no advantage or use for it without the new homebrew.

Everything save related on the PS4 still works in the same way that it did with Hen 2.1.3

what is the save mount payload used for?

the save data copied to the usb in the video is decrypted or encrypted? can we change the harddisk and still use the save files copied to the usb?

So there's nothing we can do once save is dumped and unencrypted?

Hopefully a reversed engineered homebrew is on its way lol. has anyone dumped a save yet? What file extension are they?
