PSP-FPKG v1.0 App to Convert PSP iSOs to PS4 FPKGs by JabuPL

Since his SATURN-FPKG v1.1 to Convert Sega Saturn Games to PS4 FPKGs, recent PS1HDemu / PS+PSPemu updates and shortly after the PSX 2 PS4 v1.0 to Convert PS1 iSOs to PS4 PKGs (PSXtoPS4) release earlier today developer @JabuPL on Twitter made available a PSP-FPKG v1.0 Windows application based on the new PS Plus PSPHD Emulator from Echochrome v1.00's Fully Backported PKG for Jailbroken PS4 consoles with details below.

This app lets you convert your PSP games into PS4 fPKGs by using the recently released PSPHD emulator from PS-Plus.

How to use it:

1. Select a PSP Disc Image in .iso format
2. Customize some settings (you can change the game id/title/icon/splash and select a custom game config)
3. Press "Create fPKG" and that's it

While playing a game press the Options button to display a menu, from there you can use savestates, change the display options or rewind your gameplay.

The emulator should be more compatible than the old PSP emulator from the Parappa remaster but it still needs some testing to be sure.

If you run into any issues with this app try running it with admin rights and make sure that you have enough space in your temp folder.

What is the config-title?

each time I try to make a fpkg from the psp iso, it closes.

@UltraLex you checked with admin priviliges? and you sure you have free space on hdd?

yes. 1.17tb free.

tried different isos and no go.

yes. no good, I even tried decompressing the iso and remaking it into an iso and it still would not work.

Just tried a different game and same thing. App closes when you start to make the fpkg

ah i remember. Tools dont support compressed isos if that may help you.

Well the game is an iso that was 7z but I first decompressed it to a straight iso. The app loads it and makes a photo and autofills the ID but just closes each time I try to make the fpkg

i mean compressed iso format

you have 2 types of iso, one is uncompressed and second is compressed as i remember

can be compressed with tool and extensions are same, but i can mess something, lol it was long time ago when ive played with iso format

I have no idea since I uncompressed the 7z file and have straight iso

Just for kicks I just compressed the iso to a cso and then uncompressed back to a straight iso and still same no go.

If I can get this to work I will get started on the entire USA library!
