These are both awesome games, I still haven't tried either of them. I have far cry 5 and 6, didn't know about new dawn so can't wait to try it.

I've held off playing RE5-6 because I think diverting from the horror genre is a huge mistake for the series, so very excited for RE7, it just brings back so many memories from when i used to play with friends as a kid.

We were strictly forbidden because gore and all so we saved up pocket money to buy just one in that one super shady local shop that sold games on the ground floor and as i learnt later dealt in more high stakes entertainment in the basement, but at least they didn't ask for parental approval to buy the game.

I gotta admit all the centipedes and cockroaches crawling around the MC in first person view (in the trailer) is messing me up tho I can handle anything from heads flying off bodies to zombies vomiting brains in my face but crawlers is my weakness.

From what I gathered reading interviews and reviews, Jun Takeuchi (producer) made the first-person view decision in favor of bringing back and enhancing the horror element and it seems most people that played it agree it makes the game more atmospheric and creepy, so I'm still looking forward albeit freaked out a notch.

Still can't get rid of a compulsive idea to play it in VR tho, is there a name for such eager determination to give oneself a stroke?

The survival horror lovers will like this game... I have finished RE7 smoothly on my PS4 Hen 9.0, it's very good game and i like it.

I've never played RE7 before, looking forward to experience it in VR.

Have had trouble in the past installing the base game package for RE Biohazard - not sure why. Looking forward to trying again with all the DLC included in the newest release. Time to take my VR headset for a proper spin.

I haven't played any resident evil games since nemesis on the ps1. My son is starting to get into these games now and is nearly finished 6. Looking forward to watching him play 7 and maybe even have a go myself

i'm still behind on keeping up with the resident evil series, i finished re5 i think was on ps3 like 15 years ago lol and now they rereleased re2 and re3 so might have to start from the beginning and revisit all of them before i get to revi.. then there's the village also i lost track
