This takes me back. Resident Evil 7 was the first game I played on PSVR. So there I am, a couple drinks in, learning how to shoot in VR and I start here. Needless to say that didn't end great.

I don't want to give any spoilers about specifics but there's something about a chainsaw coming at your head in VR that sticks with you.

I'm excited for a chance to play again and hopefully beat the game this time. I might stay away from Vr this time though (:

Thanks for the great work on this and others.

The Resident Evil series is for me the ultimate survival horror series, I spent crazy hours during the psx days playing in loops.

I even (under the advice I found on a web page in 1999) managed to get to the door with the double fingerprint scan using (from the start) ONLY the knife and no medicinal herbs with Leon and Claire in the hope of unlocking a security door/locker containing a special weapon...

What a tragedy to see that it happened once with Claire (2nd run) that it didn't affect anything in any way....

What memories of pure suffering (stress) with this franchise. :)

Recently I saw a friend playing RE7 at home and the graphics literally shocked me (in a good way) so I'm really excited to try this game.

Thanks to the people who created a dump and made it available for the enjoyment of as many people as possible.

This Resident Evil is really excellent. Having played all the canonical episodes, I was surprised to see how well the first-person perspective could suit this game. It is truly disturbing, frightening, and immersive.

I haven’t played the ‘Village’ episode yet, and I hope it is just as good.

Has anyone else here experienced performance drops with RE7 on PS4? Like during boss fights or more intense scenes? I’ve noticed some significant frame rate issues here and there and im curious if others have the same problem.

Are there any tips to smooth out the gameplay without ruining graphics quality? Would appreciate hearing what others have tried.
