Proceeding confirmation of PS5 backwards compatibility and 8K output, it appears is Sony Interactive Entertainment (SIE) is finally starting to open up with bits of information on their next-generation PlayStation 5 console!
According to WSJ Technology Reporter Takashi Mochizuki via Gematsu.com, as part of their FY2018 Consolidated Financial Results meeting today Sony stated the PS5 will not launch within the current fiscal year that ends on March 31, 2020... according to Ace Research Institute Analyst Hideki Yasuda it won't be expected until November 2020.
