Idea for boosting the PS4 scene

Working on finding an exploit/jailbreak for ps4 is resource and time consuming. We have more than 200 users here checking the site for a possible jailbreak.

I would suggest creating some sort of piggy bank for devs working on the ps4. If each of these (200) users donate at least 1$ that would make 200$ to start with

It will also make them being part of the process, an active part of the scene, instead of waiting forever or raging because some kid promised an exploit that never arrived.

What do you think of this idea @PSXHAX ?

I dont think so

Instead of waiting on freebies people here can actually be part of it all. Donations can also ensure the results will not end up being a dongle that people wil have to buy for 70-100$ a pop

Its a good idea in principle but a lot of the time these guys aren't motivated by financial gain.

If they were they would probably sell the expolits when they create them - whilst it would be a nice thing for them to recieve i dont think it would advance the creation of a jailbreak very much.

I wouldnt put it like this, I see it more like an incentive. Like instead of buying hardware themselves, the community is gonna help them. And they could also use it to get some beer

I replied on this in the Shoutbox the other day, but to reiterate I don't see this happening unless it was directly from established developers... and even then usually they would ask for donations after they release something not beforehand.

Ok I see
