PS4 4.5 4K Rumors Surface from PlayStation 4.5 Developers
According to an anonymous PlayStation 4.5 developer on Kotaku.com, Sony is working on a PS4.5 revision with 4K resolution and more!

To quote via PS4 News: "Based on conversations with developers who have spoken with Sony, this 'PS4.5' will include an upgraded GPU both to support high-end 4K resolution for games and add more processing power that can enhance the games supported by PlayStation VR, the headset Sony will launch this fall.

It's unclear if 'PS4.5' is an official name or just a nickname that developers have been using. One developer jokingly called it the 'PS4K' while telling me about the device.

In layman's terms, 4K resolution is around four times the pixel size of 1080p, which is the current standard for games on PlayStation 4 and competing consoles. The current PS4 can output 4K photos and videos, but cannot support 4K resolutions for games.

With this upgrade, it would. Besides resolution, developers would have an opportunity to push more effects and other graphical tweaks to make their games look better, thanks to the new GPU."

Sony Confirms $399 PlayStation VR Price Tag, Arrives This October
If you missed Sony's GDC 2016 PSVR conference, here is a PlayStation VR live stream thanks to @mcmrc1 from the PSXHAX Shoutbox! :)

To recap on PlayStation VR's price tag and release date from PS Blog via PS4 News to quote:

"With the annual Game Developers Conference in full swing, I’m pleased to give you an exciting update on PlayStation VR. Today, we are announcing that the PlayStation VR headset will launch in October of this year for a suggested retail price of USD $399 / CAD $549.

That is a bit later than the timeframe we previously stated, and I want to thank everyone for their patience and continued support. PlayStation VR represents a transformative experience in gaming, and we wanted to take the time needed to launch with a broad variety of content and a sufficient supply of hardware. We are beyond excited to deliver to consumers the amazing experience that PS VR offers.

I’m also pleased to reveal the final consumer version of PS VR, including all of the contents that will come in the package.

Today more than 230 developers are building content for PlayStation VR, from smaller independent teams to larger studios at the industry’s top publishers. We expect to have more than 50 games available from launch in October 2016 until the end of the year. Of course, the full promise of PlayStation VR will continue to grow over time as talented developers create new experiences and new genres that wouldn’t be possible outside of VR. The future looks bright indeed.

Additionally, The Playroom VR, from our very own Japan Studio, will be available as a free download from PlayStation Store for all PS VR owners at launch. The Playroom VR will include six games that can be enjoyed with friends and family, demonstrating why we believe VR can also be an impactful experience when it’s shared.

With PlayStation VR, the future of gaming is almost here. We’re excited to share more with you as we head into launch later this year."

PS3 CEX / DEX (Retail to Debug) Objective Suites for Devs Repack
Following PlayStation 3 scene releases including the PS3 CEX (Retail) to DEX (Debug) Conversion Method and CEX2DEX Application for Any PS3 NOR / NAND Flash Dump, today zecoxao made available the DEX / CEX Objective Suites with clean executables for reverse engineering by other developers.

Download: dex-cex.7z (2.1 MB) / dex-cex.7z (Mirror) / ObjectiveSuites.c (1.6 MB) / ObjectiveSuites.c (Mirror)

To quote: Back when dex-cex or cex-dex was leaked, the original leaker decided it'd be a fun prank to put .net obfuscation on the main ObjectiveSuites executable, and probably bundle it with some viruses.

When i got this, i wasn't sure what to expect, until i looked at the exes and compared them. yes, the file size differs. no, sony didn't add any obfuscation to objective suites. yes, this was meant to slow us down.

So, there you have it. the full source exes and dlls, without any exploit report. This was shared with the permission of Mr. Math. Mr. Math, if you can see this message, french potatoes are the only good crap in France. rest sucks.
