I am not sure this is the right place for this, so feel free to move to appropriate location, but I am looking for any info on how to get my ps4 to boot from usb drive/stick. or any successful attempts to boot from Lan connection.

I am looking for a faster solution to clear these systems without the whole powering on method or using the safe mode menu.

U can power on a unit via the phone app but thats it.

Devkits have more options for boot up methods, they are not necessarily in front of user

Hi,

Enable the "available in rest mode" function on the PS4 console

1) Make sure that the PS4 console has been paired with the Mobile device using the PS4 Remote Play app

2) PS4: Select Settings > Power Save Settings > Set Function Available in Rest Mode > Enable turing On PS4 from Network

Activate PS4

1) Download PS4 Remote Play app from playstore or AppStore

2) Paired your PS4 with PS4 Remote Play

3) Make sure that the PS4 console is in standby mode and that the “available in standby mode” function is enabled

4) In App Mobile PlayStation > Connect to PS4 > PS4 Remote Play

Play Game

1) Make sure that the DUALSHOCK4 controller is connected on your mobile device

2) If available, attach the DUALSHOCK4 controller and your Mobile device to a game control mount accessory

3) If the purchased game that you want to play is a disc package version, insert the disc into the PS4 console

4) Open PS4 Remote Play

5) Select the game that you want to play.

Note! If the purchased game title is a downloaded version, you can play any game that is installed on the PS4 console.

You can Only do PS4 Remote Play right now unless you have a dev kit as they have more boot options
