How to Unban a PlayStation Console ID on PSN Guide by Skyline0964

Following the Rick Astley troll of the day comes a very brief guide on how to unban a PlayStation console ID on PSN from Skyline0964 at NGU, to quote:

How to Unban a Console ID

• Change any digit in the last 16 character's
• Profit

On a serious note, I realize it's a bug in their server and it will be patched pretty soon. Enjoy.

It's had several confirmations of working thus far, so hopefully if Sony did break the 80022a24 error it will take them awhile to fix it.

In the meantime, if your PS3 / PSP / PS Vita console ID is banned give it a try and post your results below!

I removed the 'PS4' reference in the OP, so now it just says PS3 / PSP / PS Vita... although I think this is intended for PlayStation 3 as that's what section it's in at NGU also.

Example - my CID "000000010084000C14FEE7375DF9D08B"

Just change the last digit - " 000000010084000C14FEE7375DF9D08A"

and just put the new CID on psnpatch.cfg .

I use psnpatch program to go online.

psnpatch: psnpatch allows for spoofing PSID/IDPS and a few other things. you can spoof using a file found:

/dev_hdd0/game/BLJS10018/USRDIR/psnpatch.cfg. in the file you can change the PSID/IDPS. other than that most is self explanatory.

I would have suggested THIS but it appears Sony has patched it now.

There are a few people on the site that sell private CIDs in the BST section if you have no other options (such as a dead PS3 console you can get one from) I spose.
