Hi Team,
I've found a notification in my ps4. It says ps4 update 4.0 downloaded ready to be installed. My current firmware says it is at 2.56. I have made relevant settings like turned off auto download. I have never updated i.e pressed update later when it asked for update. Does it mean that my chances of having future jailbreak is over?

The two that posted after I did above are correct, if you haven't installed 4.0 yet and just received a notification to install it then your PS4 still on 2.56 is safe for a future jailbreak. :D

As for the PS4 Update Bypass, someone made a EU version so a similar one could likely be made for India, Russia and other regions if they all use different ps4-updatelist.xml's.

If you are trying to create a PSN account for another country there are guides on doing that too, if you can't find any let me know and I'll dig one up. ;)

Hi,
I tried psproxy but got an error su-30697-5. I request you to help on this if possible

According to Sony's Forum SU is a Software Update error and JackMcCan states the following on SU-30697-5:

"Su-30697-5 is a new error code , its not on psn error list yet :) arnt u lucky

but from reading the other su codes it's due to the ps4 thinks the update was currupet or did not install 100%.

i would go into safe mode and install the firmware 4.x again via the Internet :)"

Worth a try perhaps?
