Since their release of the Rebug Toolbox Source Code, @Joonie and the Rebug Team have returned bringing Rebug 4.80.1 with Cobra 7.3 PS3 CFW and Toolbox 2.02.10 to PlayStation 3 Custom Firmware users!

Hello

I recently wrote that i have some issues with my CFW, and was directed to upgrade to Rebug 4.80.1. Unfortunately i still have some issues - any help would be welcome

I will group the games by issues :

• Starts to load, but eventually goes black - Game starts normally, installs etc. but eventually when games main menu loads game goes black and stays that way, but can close the game by pushing PS3 button ( eq. uncharted 3, PES 2016, Resistance 3)
• Does not load at all - Console returns to menu after trying to load ( eq. Twisted metal, GoWIII, GoW Ascencion )
• Freezes the console - Game does not load, and also pushing PS3 button on pad does not respond (eq. Buzz Quiz World, Beyond two souls, space hulk )
• Big red exclamation mark - almost the same as the first one, but with that warning sign ( eq. Portals 2)
• No cut scenes in the game - This is a specific issue. Game runs normally but skips all cut scenes... (eq. The Last of Us).

Thank you in advance for some way to fix at least some of those issues. I have CECHC04 console.

Those all games you have mentioned work flawlessly either from internal hdd or external hdd , some require bd-mirror enabled in multiman some need to have all data deleted from hdd and need reinstalling after enabling cobra mode, perhaps dumps are corrupted and you need to dump game again from disc

Update:

Almost there ! Some games including PS2 ones are a go.

I don't really know how to approach this issue at this point.

• Does not load at all - Console returns to menu after trying to load (eq. GoW Ascencion Resistance 3)
• Freezes the console - Game does not load, and also pushing PS3 button on pad does not respond (eq. Buzz Quiz World, Space Hulk )
• Games freezes on the install screen - just around 98%. After console hard reset game starts as if it was installed and goes black ( Beyond two souls)

Actually, someone used the real PS2 doesn't have a problem, of course but my REBUG does... Thats where it crashes!

So, i'm a first-timer and have read all kinds of guides. But perhaps the simpilest way is just to ask. Can i install Rebug's 480 CFW on a 3.55 ofw without having to have a CFW first? First time CFW install basically.
