I am super late to this homebrew game on PS4. I managed to snag a PS4 Pro (Death Stranding LE) with the controller on eBay for a steal.

I'm slowly getting up to speed on things, but the current system software on that PS4 Pro is 8.03. I believe the best course of action is to upgrade to 9.00 and take it from there?

Or is it better to upgrade to an even higher firmware, since it looks like there is a jailbreak up to 11.00 (currently).

Will upgrading to 11.00 be better and increase the compatibility of the newer games?

Really looking forward to Lies of P DLC. It was one of the more memorable souls like. The PS5 scene is getting better everyday it seems. Glad the PS4 games are still coming. Guess I will keep mine for a year or two.

Really appreciate this release — Final Fantasy I holds a special place in RPG history, and seeing it brought to PS4 with updated visuals and music is incredible.
