I think if you did this for the ps2 for example all that you would have now is a decorative piece that only costs the price of the gold itself. Which would be around 100g or so? So you'd lose a lot of money just to have a bit of artwork in a few years. If this was say $2000 then it would be a bit more realistic, but ultimately in a few years there will be the ps5... This is why those blingy phones never sell, there's always a new model.
