Need help transferring PS4 game saves to an external drive

I just bought a drive i am looking to clear up my internal storage but I want to transfer my completed game save files to my external drive so just in case I want to play it later on I still have it completed and everything unlocked how do I do this am I transfer the full game over to the drive or what. any help is appreciated

According to a quick Google search, try pressing the Options button and then selecting 'Upload / Download Saved Data' from the home screen.
