There is honestly so much to be thankful for in the scene at the moment, this is complimented by the pace that those few regular individuals are able to contribute at and keep a steady stream of releases - that capitalise on these advancements - forthcoming to the end users.

Looking at the games noted in the main article, theres more than a few that me and my little will and have enjoyed for sure. She’ll be desperate to play the Disney Pixar Up game, whereas im more looking forward to trying to Elden Ring Nightrein PS4 release.

There is a PS4 release listed that i strongly recommend people try out, Terminator 2D No Fate, i have already played through this and its a great throwback action platformer, give the metaljesus review a watch on youtube if you haven't already.

At the risk of waffling, my 3.20 PS5 may finally see some use over this festive period - looking at you astrobot. I am very torn on whether to update my fw or not.

Happy new year, some of my thoughts about this release list on new years day:

If you liked the game Re-Volt as arcade racer in the past on PC or other systems I can recommend Matchbox Driving Adventures from the PS5 release list. Hot Wheels Monster Trucks: Stunt Mayhem looks similar but its not good as the Matchbox One. But try it out and compare them both to get your own opinion.

For the non racing fans I recommend OCTOPATH TRAVELER as a superb classic Roleplay adventure. Its a perfect mixture of romantic ambience and retro-pixel art. For me it also feels like a mix of Art Nouveau and Lord of the rings style. Its unique.

If you enjoyed it, you can go on with OCTOPATH TRAVELER II and the brand new OCTOPATH TRAVELER 0 which exist now for the PS4 and PS5 as the newest game of this trilogy.

It's funny that they released this a bit like Star Wars in the past:

@Slugteena About Minecraft modding, keep in mind the SKU/game serial in this article's for the European version, and the file organization's also going to be different than if you're modding the Switch version.

Unlike the Switch version, the original PS4 version was upgraded to the Bedrock version in-place, while the Switch version had a completely separate SKU released.

Digital owners of the Switch version can still have both the original Switch-specific version and the bedrock version installed side-by-side if they owned the game pre-bedrock, but with the PS4 version if you have any updates installed from after 2019 it's going to be bedrock only.

Finally can play astro bot on jailbroken ps5. Completed the astro's playroom with all achievements and it was a blast. Really hyped for this one.

I always loved side scroll games like Metal Slug. These games are so much fun with a friend on second set of sticks in the same room. I see Metal Slug Attack Reloaded on the list. Have never tried that one, looks wild!!!

I have a question that I hope it has an answer, I have tried to play Top Spin Ps5 game dump on my PS5 Pro 10.01 y2jb and the game runs fine from external storage, but stalls on the initial splash screen when transferred to internal storage of my playstation while other games like TLOU and CP2077 work fine from internal storage, any idea how to solve this issue?

@tilu541 If you get stuck on first black screen there might be problems with file permissions. Use ftp client like filezilla to connect to ps5 and change game folder permission (and everything inside it recursively) to 777. See if this fixes the problem.
