Excited to see the Resident Evil remakes! I remember renting some of the originals from Blockbuster back in the day and burning copies of them to play on my original modded PlayStation.

I felt like I was on the frontier of the modding scene back then. So much about the methods have changed and I've got a lot of catching up to do. At least I didn't have to do any soldering this time!

I helped my sister move over the weekend and seen her throw her ps4 slim in the trash. She said hasn't used it in years and her boyfriend has a ps5. I pulled it out the garbage and hooked it up when I got home and was thrilled to see the 10.5 firmare.

Updated to 11 and jailbroke my first ps4 in an afternoon! I've downloaded a few smaller games and old ps2 games I played as a kid, said no ps3 emulation is to be had, a few games I'd love to play again, Excited to be apart of the community!

I'm happy to finally see some love for the PSVR2!

I know there were a lot of constraints on being able to play dumped games until recent developments in the scene. It's a great time to be a part of the scene with all of these recent developments unfolding and it's hard to imagine what the capabilities will be in a few years. Heck, even a few months from now. Right?

I remember a time back in OG PSP days, updating and downgrading firmware almost weekly to 1.50, never willing to let go because if you'd close your eyes, the next day, boom, huge new development. Now I feel old.

I wonder if there's new development recently regarding cheats and mods on PS5. I'm specifically interested in enabling the 60 fps frame rate unlock for Bloodborne on PS5.

IIRC it used to be rather complicated on the PS4 where you have to unpack the FPKG, and then repack it with some modded binaries. Then it got simpler where you just need to enable some options like what you do with cheat codes in the goldHen menu.

Last time I checked in order to do the BB 60fps patch on the PS5 it seems to be that you have to run some python script on a PC. And it's not persistent. You have to run it every time you reboot.

Has this improved in terms of user friendlyness?

Also i used to be a PES fan, but after KONAMI stopped developing the game it's been trash. Lately i've been reading comments on a certain PES 21 update using patches made from fans, is the gameplay really as good as it used to be in the good old days?

Excited to see Star Wars Tales from the Galaxys Edge in the October releases. Being a Star Wars fan and having a PSVR will certainly bring an immersive experience. As my PS5 is on FW 6.xx this game will hopefully work.
