Building upon PS4Cheater from various PlayStation 4 Scene developers over the years, I bring you the latest PS4_Cheater: PS4 Cheater Homebrew App for Game Cheat Codes version from my (@ctn) Github Repo fork with updates added to this topic via Twitter as they're available.

PS4_Cheater

PS4 Cheater is homebrew APP to find game cheat codes, and it is based on ps4debug. This is a work in progress.

Note: It's about time the console scanner gets a re-write. This time focused on performance. Just got to finish something first.

Note: Found a bug with adding addresses, I'm pulling cheater, will update when fixed.

Update: False alarm, not a bug. I did improve one of the UI functions slightly, might as well grab the new exe's.

Please let me know if there's any issues.

PS4 Cheater

• Minor UI tweaks
  • Fix refresh/select all UI slowdown with excessive sections i.e. 60k+
  • Added Selected and Total sections.

ps4debug/libdebug

• Bump version to v1.1.15
  • Fix RPC issue present in standard ps4debug.

Note:

• There were a few 9.00 dumps, and the offsets differ slightly, please let me know if you run into any issues.
• Not everything is tested, use with caution.

Building

Open PS4_Cheater.sln with Visual Studio and build.

Note:

• payloads directory will be copied to the debug/release directory as a post-build step.
• If using ps4debug payloads directory on its own, be sure to grab libdebug.dll.
  • Need both for the speedfix.
• Included pre-compiled ps4debug binaries are built from:

Performance tips:

• auto-pause enables scans to happen faster for games that support it.
• Use Unknown Initial Low Value to filter out useless high values to speed up scans.
• Console scanner is fast but it's not always faster than the non-console scanner.
• You can enable console scanner for the first scan, then disable for the next scan etc.
  • Can mix and match

Hi!

I have tried to get codes for xcom 2 but it is simply impossible, also I do not understand the functions of float, 2 bytes, 4 bytes, etc.

Can someone guide me for the love of God?

These types represent the length and range of data, usually 2~4 bytes and float type. Below are some experiences...

Smaller values in the game, such as the number of items, sometimes use 2 bytes.
Larger values in the game, usually 4~8 bytes, such as money.
Values that are not displayed in the game, such as HP or MP or SP... Sometimes they are floats.
(or a value that thinks there will be a decimal point)

Good day creator & members of ps4 cheater, I'll like to make an inquiry on further understanding of ps4 cheater application.

Does Ps4 cheater works on retail disc ? Because I've tried in and it doesn't seem to work for me. Jailbreak-ed ps4.. Firmware 9.00. Clicked on ps4debug.. Enable binloader.. All done.

The game I'm hacking for is Dragon ball fighter z.. At my pc section .. Downloaded ps4 cheater software.. Connect to ps4.. via ip address.. Worked.

Searching for things to hack on.. Easiest would be infinite money. Took about 30 minutes for scanning.. Now here's the issue.. Ps4 cheater software was working fine but ps4 console started to show black screen.

At 1st glance I thought it's the hdmi cable not working.. So force shut down ps4 console.. Reboot-ed it. Try hacking the next day.. Same issue happen. So which leads me to think that.. Could be ps4 cheater with retail disc hack problem.

Is there any other method to hack on a retail disc ?

Right now, hoping to get an answer from ps4 cheater community.. Thank you.

It works on retail games. Make sure you use the embedded payload, not one from a host.

the one in ps4cheater can kill boss because although is infinite heath, i get "fear damage" also die.

Does "Find pointers" works or not? I'm on 6.72FW and I've tried to use multiple PS4Cheater version (even 1.4), followed few existing guides on this:

1) found money item in main window, open pointer window - "First scan", offset - level 5 - found like 32000 results (tried different offset levels - even level 20)
2) reload game/restart entire game/restart PS4 - tried all variations
3) found same money item, copy address, enter it in pointers window, click on "Next Scan".

Every time I get 0 results! Can anyone help me with this?

It may not have a pointer you can find with the scanner, try using PS4 reaper and set a watchpoint on your money address.
