Safe to update to 4.82 PS3 firmware?

Hello, i have fat ps3 that can be downgraded to 3.55 and one superslim that cannot be jailbroken and my GF has normal slim (also can be jailbroken) now, i have not jailbroke any of them (of course superslim cannot be hacked) but now with release of 4.82 exploit i would like to know if its safe to update all ps3 models to 4.82 ofw if i maybe want to jailbreak them in future (fat and slim).

Is it also safe to update superslim to 4.82 if i want to wait for possible homebrew launcher trough browser, im asking this because i dont want to jailbreak at the moment but i want to play online.

Yes it is safe in all, you can jailbreak the fat and slim with the exploit on 4.82 and the HEN-Enabler..if it comes...works on 4.82 too
