There are many threads here and there about the differences between the two DualShock 4 versions, but none about the technical differences, which is what I'm curious about.
More specifically: What is it that makes the DualShock 4 v1 work on a lot of Sony Blu-ray players and TVs - while the DualShock 4 v2 doesn't work on the same devices. What is the technical difference that renders v2 useless in that scenario?
Does anyone know?
