Sony Launches Online Store to Purchase PS4 Consoles and Games Direct
In addition to PlayStation Store and their PlayStation Gear shop, today Sony announced the launch of a new online store located at Direct.PlayStation.com to purchase PS4 consoles, accessories, games and more directly from PlayStation for those in the United States. 
Here's a bit more on this latest venture from Sony's SVP Head of North American Business Operations Stephen Turvey, to quote:
Integrated within the PlayStation.com website, you can now easily navigate from hardware and game product information pages directly to purchasing these PlayStation products from our store, ranging from PS4, PS4 Pro and PS VR systems and bundles, as well as headsets, DualShock 4 Wireless Controllers, PS VR accessories, a selection of physical games, and voucher codes for PS Plus subscriptions.
With plans to expand down the line, the store’s initial selection of physical disc games includes titles such as:

The Last of Us Part II PS4 Release Date and Reveal Trailer Video!
During Sony's PlayStation State of Play conference earlier today they confirmed The Last of Us Part II arrives on February 21, 2020 with the latest reveal PS4 trailer video below! 
Here are details on the various editions of the game, including The Last of Us Part II Standard Edition, Special Edition, Digital Deluxe Edition, Collector's Edition and Ellie Edition from Director Neil Druckmann to quote:
The Last of Us Part II Collector's Edition
Let's kick things off with the Collector's Edition, which includes a beautifully crafted 12" Ellie statue, a life-sized replica of Ellie's bracelet, a custom SteelBook case, 48-page mini art book from Dark Horse, a set of six enamel pins, lithograph art print, and a set of five stickers.
The Collector's Edition also comes with a voucher for digital content, including a PS4 dynamic theme, a set of six PSN avatars, a digital soundtrack, and a digital version of the mini art book.
The Last of Us Part II Ellie Edition
The Ellie Edition gives you all of the contents of the Collector's Edition, plus a full-sized, fully functional recreation of Ellie's backpack, an embroidered patch, and a 7” vinyl record featuring music from the original soundtrack.
We'll also have a Special Edition version that features the custom SteelBook case and all of the digital content found in the Ellie Edition and Collector's Edition.
The Last of Us Part II Digital Deluxe Edition

Sony Unveils Free October PlayStation Plus Games at State of Play 2019
Headlining the free PlayStation Plus games for October 2019 are The Last of Us Remastered and MLB The Show 19 as announced at their State of Play, which can also be seen below for those who missed the live stream earlier today. 
Both The Last of Us Remastered and MLB The Show 19 will be available to download from PlayStation Store between October 1st and November 4th as confirmed by Sony Senior Manager of Game Services Content Adam Michel.
