TestKit Installer Deluxe VPK for HENkaku Enso PS Vitas by Voxel9
We've added some new PS4 MEME's to the PSXHAX Shoutbox MOTD and Twitter this weekend, and following Adrenaline with uma0 Support for USB mass storage by @BenMitnicK PlayStation Vita developer @voxel released a PS Vita TestKit Installer Deluxe VPK which allows installing full TestKit firmware on HENkaku Enso PS Vita consoles including Debug Settings and TestKit-specific utilities!

This application can install (and uninstall) the TestKit firmware and TestKit spoofer plugin, which will completely enable Debug Settings from the settings apps, and everything else you can possibly do on an actual TestKit PS Vita. (such as Checker, Quick Sign Up, Installing debug packages in PKG installer, and even multiple PSN accounts.)
The installer makes modifications to vs0, and to the boot_config.txt, so don't power off your Vita or exit the app while installation is ongoing!
Finally, please be aware that this installer will not install on a PSTV, as there appears to be some compatibility issues with numerous things (TestKit FW was never designed for PSTV)

Q: Can I get an unrecoverable brick from this?
A: No. If your boot config corrupts (which it 99.9% should not do) then just reboot into safe mode, reinstall the 3.60 retail firmware, and reinstall HENkaku Enso. Moreover, it was proven that you could still access safe mode to reinstall firmware after deleting all of vs0.
Q: I get C2-12828-1 when trying to install/uninstall! Halp!...

PS3 OFW PSID Dump Tool & Guide to Dump PSID via OFW by Esc0rtd3w
Following his recent PS3 OFW Bubble Maker for DTU Method, PlayStation 3 developer @esc0rtd3w made available a PS3 OFW PSID Dump Tool and tutorial to dump your PSID from OFW using Netflix and the Data Transfer Utility (DTU) as detailed below.

Ok, this is yet another side project that I have been wanting to test more, and that day has come!!
I have tested this on OFW 4.81, and it does indeed dump the correct PSID, verified by checking on the CFW console.
This will allow you to dump the PSID from an OFW console. Yes I know, this IS NOT the coveted IDPS, which is the Console ID itself, but this is a unique number per console. I do not know much about what can be done with it alone, but it's "half" of your consoles unique ID.
Here are some screenshots. It requires a CFW console using the DTU method.
Now, the screenshots will give you an idea of what is going on, but basically Netflix generates a PSID.dat file located at "/dev_hdd0/game/NPUP00030/USRDIR/APPDATA".
I am using the DTU method in 2 ways, first, I am using it to push NetFlix onto the OFW console (although this just makes it easier) and then run the app on OFW to generate the PSID.dat.

Neon Drive Cruises on PlayStation 4 August 8th, PS4 Launch Trailer
If you're an 80's fan like myself, psychedelic cruiser Neon Drive may be worth checking out and is heading to PlayStation 4 via PSN on August 8th with a PS4 launch trailer video below.

The 1980s were also a time of the first computer music — digital synthesizers were all the rage. Computers made simple games possible, and game designers started exploring new genres such as racing, lane dodgers, top-down shooters, side-scrollers, and platformers. But back then the equipment was not cheap — you had to go to the arcades to play the best looking games, which were often so challenging that you had to spend dozens upon dozens of coins just to complete a single level.
Neon Drive takes all this and blends it into a nostalgic love letter to the ’80s.
