PS3 OFW 4.81 Backup Games Injection LICDIR Mods Listing and Guide

Yesterday we saw a brief guide covering PS3 Games with Older LIC.DAT Titles, and @ShadixAced shared a link HERE of a PlayStation 3 game compilation listing that can be injected with backups using PARAM.SFO license directory modifications with update patches running on OFW 4.75 through 4.81.

If you want to prepare the specified games for the console on the console, then see below: The method, how to make the game work, is pretty simple. The game should have an official patch (and how else will we launch it from the internal disk?).

The patch is being unpacked, the contents of USRDIR, except for EBOOT.BIN and updated files (if any) are taken from the disk version. PARAM.SFO (from the disk) is edited. Change the Category from DG to HG and App Version to the patch version.

15. Star Wars The Force Unleashed - The Ultimate Sith Edition (BLUS30445) + Patch 2.00 (BLUS30144). So, unpack the patch, throw in it the edited PARAM.SFO from the disk (Category, App Version and BLUS30144), well the contents of the USRDIR folder, except eboot.bin, of course.

16. Stranglehold (BLES00144 + NPEB90044 or NPHB00017). Demo (NPEB90044 or NPHB00017) unpack, edit for the beauty of PARAM.SFO. All the contents (except eboot.bin) of the USRDIR folder (in the demo) are deleted and, accordingly, to throw it from the disk version. But, there is a cant in the game. In the second mission, the helicopter does not lose missiles. You can go, but gemorno.

stars wars is contained in the download list i linked earlier , so just redownload and inject. Stranglehold isn't available for download in that list yet , but i can confirm its working on my 4.81 ofw super slim using the same instructions you shared above. So i suggest u check the instructions agains , check for splitted files and i recommend injecting using TABR in case u used anything else.

Guys you won't believe this final fantasy xiii 2 is now playable on ps3 ofw 4.81 ofw with backup transportation aka true ancestor also the method is same used for rayman legends (demo eboot in full game) it's working I just tested right now have fun

yesterday, I tried injecting motogp 11/10 GOW ghost of sparta, I injected it successfully but I can not make it to work. It gives me an 80010006 error. I foĺlowed the instruction from the guy in youtube that has a site called ps3jailbrakedown I guess. I also notice that your method of injecting games is different from him? Why is that?

Most YouTube videos linking to sites made up of 'keyword terms' like that are usually BS unfortunately.

One thing you can do is check their video's comments to see if others call them out as fakes and can't get their 'method' working either, etc.

Probably... I have done a lot of reading and testing, still no success... but I successfully injected plants vs zombie using pexploit v0.7.... hahaha... it is a C00 file, not full... I will try this method you have here. Hoping I will be successful with this method...

Brother if u are above 4.70 then it won't work can convert c00 games to full until your ps3 version is below 4.70
