PS3 OFW 4.81 Backup Games Injection LICDIR Mods Listing and Guide

Yesterday we saw a brief guide covering PS3 Games with Older LIC.DAT Titles, and @ShadixAced shared a link HERE of a PlayStation 3 game compilation listing that can be injected with backups using PARAM.SFO license directory modifications with update patches running on OFW 4.75 through 4.81.

If you want to prepare the specified games for the console on the console, then see below: The method, how to make the game work, is pretty simple. The game should have an official patch (and how else will we launch it from the internal disk?).

The patch is being unpacked, the contents of USRDIR, except for EBOOT.BIN and updated files (if any) are taken from the disk version. PARAM.SFO (from the disk) is edited. Change the Category from DG to HG and App Version to the patch version.

Any suggestions for BLES00242 -Disc read error, attempting to read data

what method did you do ? , but if the game get booted then this error appeared

try another copy of the game or check if some missing files

I copied Update patch 1.10 files to the PS3_GAME folder, except PARAM.SFO. In PARAM.SFO , changed app ver to 1.10 , DG to HG. Renamed PS3_GAME to BLES00242.

Even tried same steps with just one change in name to BLES00242GAME. On launch, I get that error. Also tried the disc trick , no success.

Will try to get a different copy of the game.

is there any sprx file ?, try to add a update folder to beside main game folder as earlier one you made , but it's strange maybe the copy you have is bad one , did you check with IRD file?

Hey guys , to make it simpler , I'm gonna share this with you :

This is a thread that I personally made with the help of the Russian community , it consists of ALL tested & working games on 4.81 OFW (yes , no DTU , no cfw , just backup ). These are ready games which usually got patched using the same instructions in this thread's header. So all you have to do is download and then inject into your backup using TABR. Yep. It's that simple. Hope i helped

P.S : @PSXHAX i think it would be really helpful if you add the link to this thread's header , as all games stated here are already patched and working in my list. Thnx.
