Hello, my ps4 has the firmware version 6.72 and i could play any game with backport so far.
Now i tryed a recent game and installed the backport, but if i start it, then it says the game requires 10.50 firmware to play.
Well long story short, at the end i spoofed the firmware to version 12 and now all games work, the message is gone (if i reboot and dont spoof then it shows again the 10.50 message).
Well, all i have read so far was that spoofing is only for vr so i never used it, can someone explain why it works for games now, or what could be the reason that i need to spoof while i also installed the backport?
