Earlier this week we saw the release of a PS4 Payload Sender for Android by @valentinbreiz (who has since fixed the crash issue in v1.1) followed by a redesign of mine based off his GitHub repo, and today I've made available Version 1.0 followed by a v1.1 crash fix with a preview video and the changes detailed below alongside PS4 Payload Sender 2.0.

Download: 2.0 PS4 Payload Sender 5262018407 signed.apk (1.8 MB) /
PS4 Payload Sender Version 3.0 Update (2.8 MB)

Spoiler: Depreciated

New package name so please uninstall the older one as it will show two applications.

I haven't tested in on a PS4 but will soon (waiting for the 5.05 public release as I'm on 4.73).

Version 1.0 public - 5/16/2018
  • Initial release
  • Full redesign
  • Added an about activity
  • Added an adaptable icon support
  • Added a splash screen
  • New theme based on the Playstation messages app
  • Improvements under the hood
  • Working on French ans Spanish translations
Known bug:

Some users experience crash when button clicked. Working on that issue right now, will be releasing a fix. This is caused by an onClick used on the xml layout file.

Version 1.1 public - 5/16/2018 8:00

Should be fully usable.

@Stephy Did you install Python 3 before? Is PS4 and your PC connected to the same network? Is your System Windows?

Facing another problem now.

I talked to some other people, and apperently it suppose to show up "internet connection: failed" . I manage to get "special menu" in user guide. Install "Disable Updates" successfully And install HEN.

But in DEBUG MENU -> Game > Package Installer : "No packages Found"

I plug in a USB Thumb Drive in Front USB slots.
Its formatted with exfat with a test.pkg file in root directory.

Edit: Gonna see if test.pkg is the failure. Finding a small game and see if I still face installation issues. Sadly, I tried Stardew Valley on here. I added it to USB stick and couldn't find it in Package installer..

Can I be on a bad version PS4 PRO ? Does some consoles dont work?

Can you use External HDD (not thumb drive) to install packages as well?

If not, which thumb drives are often suitable? I tried 2 thumb drives (kingston, sandisk) they aren't recognized on my ps4

@nikushimii What jellybean version are you running? 4.2? I haven't tested the app on marshmallow and below (I've only tested it on 7.0 and 8.1). I can setup an emulator and see what's up

I admire the work
But why it always says "connected" even if there is no such ip existed on this network!
Isn't there any system detection technique to be added to the app?
