PlayStation 4 Slim Manual / Images May Reveal 5 GHz Wi-Fi Support

A few days back we saw some video footage of PS4Slim direct communication with DualShock 4, and now shortmaneighty2 revealed what may be PS4 Slim 5 GHz Wi-Fi support according to a PlayStation 4 Slim user manual screenshot and direct screen capture from the Internet status page!

To quote from DualShockers.com on the find:

"Shortman just posted on Twitter a picture of the manual that indeed indicates 5 GHz support and one of the console’s UI.

While the “Wi-Fi frequency band in use” option says 2.4 GHz, because that’s what Shortman is using, the option isn’t present at all in the original model, which also appears to confirm support for different bands."

Tech is advancing quickly now a days compared to 10years ago but what do you expect a new console every 2-5 yrs a new phone every 6 months a new model car every year VR is gonna be something new not 3d games (what were they smoking)
