Sorry again, but the link is not working.

I managed to download however when installing the PS3 can not find the data

PS: the pen drive is formatted in FAT32 and the update looks like this: PS3> UPDATE> PS3UPDAT.PUP

/PS3/UPDATE/PS3UPDAT.PUP is the correct path so looks good there.

Check the MD5 hash of your downloaded PUP file, it should be:

FDE644A632AC961259EEC26AE621E03D

If it matches and still doesn't work, try a different USB stick or the another USB port, etc.

Anybody, I have a demo ps3 fat console, and I'm able to disable the demonstration mode with the the 4 digit code, but whe I try to update for a new custom firmware or any other, it says that no update files was found or something like that, though it does detect my usb, but not the file, does it have to be thru safe mode only... ? Help....

I'd recommend first getting it on retail OFW using a reverter (not a pin code) and then worry about going to CFW after that.

If you post the PS3 model number and Demo Firmware version I can advise you from there.
