Following Sony's PS4 Beta Signups, the PS4 Beta PUP Updates and PSN Online ID Change Feature that was discovered today the latest wave of PlayStation 4 Beta 6.50 Firmware invites are going out to select users who previously joined their BETA software program. :D

A copy of the invitation can be seen below, and to quote from XtremePS3.com on the PS4 Firmware 6.50 BETA changes detailed thus far:

The changelog for the beta does indicate that two new features have been added to the update:
  • You can now choose 720p when you broadcast using Niconico Live. This service is only available in certain countries and territories.
  • You can now change the button assignment to perform “Enter” operations from the O button to the X button. This can be changed from the [Settings] > [System] menu, and is only available for specific countries and territories.
If anyone is in Sony's PS4 BETA Program and gave it a try let us know if you found anything else new about it in the comments below! (y)

Download: HERE - Must be in Sony's BETA Program as DEFAULTDNB confirmed installing using THIS legacy method no longer works from ps4.update.playstation.net and ps4.update.sonycoment.loris-e.llnwd.net via @Sametto Chan on Twitter.

:alert: Warning: If you're on a jailbroken PS4 console don't update to the BETA as @DEFAULTDNB confirmed the following via Twitter, to quote:

"You can only downgrade to the current highest released OFW (in this case 6.20) regardless of what firmware you updated from. It's hard coded now."

@rustomen Yes but they could modify the game req. For example NFS Payback. I dont know who but someone patched it for FW 4.7 although it requires atleast 5.05

Main thing is, you can dump 5.05 game and repack it to run on firm below 5.05, same as HZD was repacked while exploit wasnt public... if you know how to, and if u have hen and dumper.....

If someone manage to get full package (hen, exploit and other tools), then yes, probably it can be done. But, as it seems, people who have access to exploit dont have any interest to do such thing, not even as "proof" that it can be done.

And that someone who will gladly do such thing dont have exploit...

Everything is vulnerable it dont matter what it is there is always a loop hole in the system nothing is unhackable its just how it is done and the dev and how he handles the Exploit.

6.20 can be the video app has proven that by watching your system and the data you dump shows everything just give the guys time to release their findings

you can always try communicating with devices between the system and your computer and watch the data

I use a clip system and an analyzer using a clip system so that the system cant detect a secondary device and it has its own power source to cover your trails its just one method to think about
