PS4_DB_Rebuilder to Restore FPKGs After PS4 Database Rebuilding

Since his PS4Updates.py python script, PlayStation 4 developer Zer0xFF returns with PS4_db_rebuilder which will restore your FPKGs (Fake Packages) after rebuilding the PS4 database.

Requirement

• Python (preferably 3.0+)

How-to-use

1. recursively clone this repo or download a Release
2. start FTP server on the PS4
3. run the python script though terminal/cmdline python3 fix_db.py PS4_IP (command for external via sp0k: py fix_db.py PS4_IP)
4. wait for the script to finish, then logout of the PS4 user without closing the browser
5. log back in and all your games should be there again

I lost my entire XMB (game library) when switching to fw9.00. (i did try the restore database payload - and it didn't do squat)

So I tried to run the PS4_db_rebuilder_6.72_7.02_7.55 and it didn't work it recovered themes but literally nothing else. Not even internal games

Does anyone have a version that is ported to Fw 9.00?

Same for me, only restored stuff on internal drive. EXT versions error'd out or did nothing.

tested on 9.00 and i'm getting invalid directory error from the script.

Tried --> PS4_db_rebuilder_6.72_7.02_7.55 and PS4_db_rebuilder_EXT-0.1 ran both of these. Powershell works better then CMD (as admin). Nothing seemed to work. Then I found a backup App.db. FTP'd it to the ps4 and logged in and out. I could see some of my games finally.

Then i ran PS4_db_rebuilder_6.72_7.02_7.55 and PS4_db_rebuilder_EXT-0.1 again... After running fix_db py (ps4 id) IT runs VERY quickly. I can see all my ps4 games internal and external plus all my PS2 remakes BUT I still can not launch any ps4 or ps2 games off the external HD --> results in CE-3487-0. I had crash where the ps4 rebuilt database after all this. When the ps4 rebooted I was still not able to run any game off external HD

Not sure how to fix this... seems like the script isn't fixing the symlink?
