PS4 Jailbreaking       Thread starter PSXHAX       Start date Dec 20, 2020 at 4:01 AM       139,117       285
It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas... :music: following the PS4 WebKit 0-Day Exploit, PS4 Userland 7.02 Port fork, 7.02 PS4 Full Stack and 7.02 PS4HEN this weekend PlayStation 4 developer sleirsgoevy updated his PS4JB Github repository with a PS4 7.02 Jailbreak page currently featuring four options: JB+MIRA, JB+HEN, JB+NETCAT (LEGACY) and JB+NETCAT! 🎁 🎅

On the PS4JB 7.02 Page he notes the success rate is about 10% so unless you're already on PS4 OFW 7.02 it's advisable to hold off updating your Firmware and use 7.02 Backported PS4 FPKGs for the time being... and @Chronoss09 passed along via Twitter a last_sleirsgoevy_host_only_702.rar (189.44 KB), last_sleirsgoevy_host_only_702_v2_fix.rar (190.85 KB), last_sleirsgoevy_host_only_702_v3.rar (323.36 KB), last_sleirsgoevy_host_only_702_v4.rar (336.3 KB) and last_sleirsgoevy_host_only_702_v5_new.rar (376.46 KB) / last_sleirsgoevy_host_only_702_v5_old.rar (346.96 KB) / last_sleirsgoevy_host_only_702_v6_fix.rar (1015.1 KB - adds PS4Debug payload) / last_sleirsgoevy_host_only_702_v6.2.rar (1.06 MB) / Test Page / Sleirsgoevy host 702 v7 (v2) by Chronoss.rar (1.38 MB) / Test Page (Latest Version). :fire:

Next up, @zecoxao shared via Twitter a PS4 7.02 Kernel Dump for PlayStation 4 Scene developers to further examine 🧐 offsets in the System Software. :geek:

Download: dump.bin (42 MB) / Full_kernel_dump_7.02 by Karo.bin (103.1 MB) via @karo218

Proceeding his PS4 7.02 Game Backporting footage, @grabman (Twitter) updated his YouTube Channel with a FF7R FPKG Backport video confirming it works just fine... while his latest video covers the PS4JB: PS4 7.02 Jailbreak updates stating the following in the description, to quote:

Use this new site and follow along with video. If you need to send a payload use JB plus Netcat which is port 9021 or legacy which is 9020. I recommend caching this site and going offline.

For those experiencing issues I have done extensive testing of 7.02 and it is working quite well. If you are on 6.72 or above I highly recommend taking advantage of the above method. Hope this helps people.

@becksterorange yep I did update from 6.72 was hoping it would improve. Seems the higher the firmware is the less and less stable it is getting to run exploits as I believe 7.55 in lesser still I definitely will not be updating.

I kinder wonder that the lesser the chance to run the exploits the harder it is for devs to find these exploits, eventually the ps4 may well become unexploitable.

So I've now come across a theory putting into practice I've now decided to leave console on an every few days or once a week, I will switch off for a couple of hours as I do believe the console will not overheat as when left idle in home screen with no games running the temp stays around 60 which is cool enough to keep on and not overheat

I can also monitor temp control in ps4 explorer in need be, reason for this is because it can take a long and exhausting time to get hen to run plus rest mode does not seem to work on my console which is model cuh-1216a does anyone with same model have issues loading hen by which I mean can take up to a hour plus

@ceejays I stayed on 6.72 because I still have a lot of good games to play and 7.02 just didn't have any games that seemed worth taking the chance for. I took the chance from 5.05 because of all the good games 6.72 had. But I do remember the week or so of grief while things were getting ironed out.

Fortunately it got ironed out and 6.72 is very stable. Hang in there though. I'm sure 7.55 will be here soon enough. I highly doubt too many devs are working on 7.02 because 7.55 has so much more to offer.

@becksterorange ya man I hear pal but I believe the webkit will remain the same and the kexploit is less stable for 7.55, exploitable yes but probably rare to exploit, I am only summizing here and it may turn out great, we can only wait and see

i believe the exploit will be stable on 7.02 and 7.55 if it eventually gets released. Just like 5.05. First it needs to be working and when all the future exploits arrive it's time to do code fixing

right now i can only say thanks to all legends involved cause we can do it any way even if it takes time to load
