• Since his PKG Passcode Finder v1, PlayStation 5 developer SvenGDK released on Github via X Post a PS5 PKG Reader for Linux (ps5pkgreader_1.0.0_amd64.deb / ps5pkgreader_1.0.0_amd64.tar.gz) dubbed PS5PKGReader v1 to read debug / retail PS5 PKG files and extract some (icon0.png, pic0.png, param.json & package-configuration.xml, if exists) content.
  
  
• Since his Live Die Repeat: A Tribute to Dragon's Lair PS4 FPKG release, PlayStation 4 developer @Lapy aka Lapy05575948 on X made available a Senua's Saga Hellblade II for PS4 hombrew game to enjoy the story with simulated gameplay.

I enjoy seeing that there are plenty of people that are willing to help to elevate the scene and I hope to bring as much to it as I can. I am a C# Developer and I just have to say how much I appreciate seeing tools being made to help out the community. I have worked on my own passion projects so I know how much time and effort goes into this and it really is awesome seeing this kind of thing. I will definitely be looking for a way to contribute back here in any way I can that's for sure.

I've also just recently dusted off my PS4 that I haven't used in a good 3 years or so. I'm so glad there are people here that take the time to create and share the backports, FPKG files, etc. Especially since I am just getting back into the PS4 scene with Jailbreaking and all of this work being done makes that so much easier.

I just wanted to say thank you to everyone involved here and I look forward to being a part of awesome community!

i know he has already retired. but when i hear the word formula 1, i immediately think of him and his teammate barrichelo the brazilian i think. those were the good old days.

The release of the PS5PKGReader for Linux is a FANTASTIC step forward, i personally use linux and it was like hell for me who want to explore PKG files, these updates are gonna help me a LOT!! thank you so much!!!
