Shrinking the PlayStation 5: Tiny PS5 Mod by NotFromConcentrate

Since the Water Cooled PS5 demo, Adjustable Speed PS5 Fan Mod, previous PlayStation 5 Slim Mod and PS5 Slim Unboxing & Teardown of Sony's official 30% smaller slimline console comes a Tiny PS5 Mod by NotFromConcentrate (NFC's Patreon ) on YouTube who describes his modification as the smallest PS5 with a detachable disc drive stating, "We couldn't settle for the 30% reduction in size from the new PlayStation 5, so we took it further!"

I can solder, 3D Print and basic model stuff, but this kinda thing is way more advanced for me, I wish I had done engineering at Uni instead of Design.

Seeing after market mods like this kind of name your wonder why features, like the detachable disc drive, weren't available on release day!

I'm surprised that they don't make the console this small if it's possible, the original console is huge and it doesn't look right laid horizontally especially, it's not symmetrical at all.

It would be even better if we could get some kind of portable version with a screen and inbuilt controller but I know we are way off getting to that point soon.

That is so cool, certainly makes the gaming space more compact. Love the overall design and the mix of materials really sets it off, carbon, white with translucent blue and a nice light effect.

If this came as a mod kit I would deffo look into getting one but as a stand alone unit its brilliant, well done.

This is incredibly impressive. I wonder why Sony didn't make the entire console smaller when it shrunk the board. I would assume that making the board smaller is the most expensive part of designing a smaller console.

Unless Sony is playing 5D chess and will use the same board on a new slimmer PS5.

Wow, this Tiny PS5 mod is incredible! NotFromConcentrate really nailed it by shrinking the PS5 so much while keeping it functional. The custom parts and engineering behind this are super impressive.

I love seeing innovative projects like this that push the boundaries of what’s possible with console mods. Amazing work!

Last time, I saw a Wii keychain mod haha. Would it be possible with a PS5 though.
